Big savings coming soon on eBay!
Aug 21, 2008
Great News: All those seller-unfriendly changes made
earlier this year are rebounding on eBay! They are losing
sellers to other companies charging much lower listing
fees, notably Amazon and countless online auction sites.
Some sites, including Amazon, charge little or nothing to
list your products - sellers only cough up when a sale is
actually made. On eBay combined upfront and final
selling fees represent a huge chunk of profits from items
that do sell, not forgetting eBay also charges high listing
fees for items that don't actually sell.
Why I'm Doing Something Different in the Newsletter Today...
Aug 16, 2008
Most of you know this already... but at 'eBay Confidential'
we do our best not only to tell you how to make money
ON eBay, but also how to use eBay as the pivot from
which to make more money OFF eBay.
Why you must have three eBay IDs
Aug 7, 2008
Many experienced sellers have two eBay IDs, purely to
keep their buying and selling activities separate...
usually to confuse fellow sellers!
So, for example, a seller marketing hand-made baby
clothing on eBay using one ID, might buy those items
from people who make and sell those items on eBay,
using a different ID to avoid rivals accessing all their
buying and selling secrets and sources in one easy
location.
Clever huh?

PayPal is offering UK eBay sellers 12 months' worth of
free eBay Listing, Final Value, and PayPal Fees.
It represents another of eBay's attempts to have sellers
offer PayPal only transactions at their eBay sites and,
rather than being forced to forego payment by cheque or
postal order, you're being invited to test the water for the
PayPal only option, and potentially earn up to £30,000 in
the process.
This is the best news EVER!
Jul 17, 2008
It's finally happened: eBay has admitted they may have
been wrong in causing heartache, loss of credibility, pain
and suffering, lost profits to previously loyal eBay sellers.
Okay, that introduction's a bit OTT and, all I really
wanted to say is that eBay have bowed to sellers'
complaints about neutral feedback scoring exactly the
same as negative feedback in a seller's overall positive
feedback percentage. Some time towards the end of
August only negative points will impact on positive.
