Elusive DVD Wholesalers
Hi,
PayPal is offering UK eBay sellers 12 months' worth of
free eBay Listing, Final Value, and PayPal Fees.
It represents another of eBay's attempts to have sellers
offer PayPal only transactions at their eBay sites and,
rather than being forced to forego payment by cheque or
postal order, you're being invited to test the water for the
PayPal only option, and potentially earn up to £30,000 in
the process.
I have to confess, I am a bit suspicious, I personally
think, as happened in Australia, eBay may shortly force
UK sellers into PayPal only transactions. But, unlike
Australia, UK sellers are getting the carrot, not the stick,
we're being invited to try PayPal only transactions, unlike
our friends down under who were forced into it.
For those who don't know it, eBay isn't just
'recommending' PayPal, eBay actually owns PayPal, so
far from trying to make payment easier and safer for
buyers, eBay looks only to explode its already top-heavy
share of UK sellers' profits.
I don't recommend you remove your non-PayPal
payment options purely to enter the competition. PayPal
fees are very high compared to cost of banking cheques
or processing postal orders, and that makes the cost of
using PayPal exclusively somewhat disproportionate to
the chance of winning the monthly competition.
But if you already use PayPal only, you might like to
know the competition is open now and lasts to the end of
December 2008. You must have been registered on
eBay.co.uk for at least two months before registering for
the competition and you must keep your eBay account in
good standing. You must also have a PayPal Business
or Premier account.
Each month from now to the end of 2008 PayPal will
select a winner at random and that person will receive a
refund into their PayPal account for eBay insertion fees,
final value fees, and PayPal fees incurred for all
transactions completed in 2008.

Time to Vacation or Time to Make Money?
***
Every year, round about now, millions of marketers, on
and off the Internet, on eBay and elsewhere, will tell you
to shut up shop, take a holiday, and don't start selling
again until summer's over and the kids are back at
school and parents look to spend once again.
The theory goes that parents are far too involved with
their children during the school holidays to focus on
spending; they're too busy playing outdoors with the kids
to bother reading newspaper advertisements, opening
direct mailshots, buying online!
What a joke! There's just one word to express my
feelings about that attitude! It's a four-letter word so I
apologise for it in advance!
That word is 'Crap'!
In reality, summer can be the very best time of year to
make money. Lots of money!
I know that for certain because, every year, when other
sellers hibernate, I increase my selling activities, and I
make much more in July and August (the so-called
'dead' months) than at any other time of year, even
Christmas. That way, I'm not only increasing my own
typical earnings, I'm also grabbing a huge share of the
market left unattended by my 'expert' friends, and with
selling competition at an all-year low there's more
chance of generating high bid prices and multiple sales
than at any other time of year.
And the reason why so many marketers put up 'closed'
signs this time of year? It's because that's what they've
always been told to do by people just as ill-informed as
themselves!
The truth is, there is always money to make on and off
the Internet, especially on the Internet, and only this
week television news reported a massive growth in
online spending, even in a suspected recession!
And that includes eBay!
So when 'they' rest, you stay focused, take a break by all
means but don't stop your eBay listings just because
some other idiot tells you to! Start your listings before
you go on holiday, pre-schedule them if you like, let
them run the entire course of your absence plus a few
days more, then wait for lots of lovely cash to make its
way into your bank account and pay for your entire
holiday with some left over.
The only complication is likely to be potential buyers
waiting longer for answers to questions about your eBay
listings, which you can address by adding a note to the
shop banner above all your listings saying something
like:
"We are on holiday from (date) to (date) and may be
unable to answer your questions in our usual speedy
fashion. We will however answer questions every few
days while we're on holiday and we'll make sure all
questions are answered upon our return and at least a
few days before any of our current listings end."
Happy eBaying!
Until next time,
Avril

DVD Movies Dropship Wholesalers - How to Locate
Elusive DVD Wholesalers
By Dennis William
***
There are so many people looking for reliable DVD
movie dropship wholesalers these days.
Selling digital video discs online using a business model
called dropshipping is like having two surefire business
successes. DVDs are selling like hot cakes and
dropshipping, the future of e-commerce, is thriving.
The easiest way to find DVD movies dropship
wholesalers is through research whereupon you will
quickly learn where those people can easily be found -
on eBay.
eBay is host to hundreds of middle sellers and you need
to either buy from those people or discover where they
acquire their stock. All you have to do is ask! These
tips will help:
* Do not expect to get information from independent
sellers who run their own websites though. Also, if you
don't have much connection, you may expect sellers to
be a little greedy.
* One trick that works in the business is to pretend to be
a buyer and inquire about their supplier. If this does not
click, then you should purchase a DVD from the seller
you approached. The seller will be grateful and give you
the info you want. Just be a little creative here.
* Ask people who rent out videos. Your rental
membership can be your ticket to your dropshipping
success. If you rent frequently, either online or from a
physical store, then it would be easy for you to inquire
about their sources. As long as you keep your
dropshipping interests disguised, it won't be difficult.
* Join discussion boards. Quality and dependable DVD
movies dropship wholesalers are elusive on the internet.
They don't have websites. But, you can always be
among those who are interested about dropshipping
movies. Be a member of forum sites that talk about the
subject. Share your ideas, build a reputation, and in no
time, you can get the information you want. This option
takes time however, so be patient.
* Invest in wholesale directories. Perhaps this is your
ultimate option. There are a number reliable sources and
websites where you can get a list of digital video disc
wholesalers. In fact, you will be surprised to know about
Chinese suppliers that offer incredibly low priced movie
titles. The only drawback to this option is that you need
to pay for the information. It will cost you roughly $200.
* To locate such reliable dropship wholesalers, you only
need creativity, resourcefulness, patience, you need to
make a one-time payment fee. Just remember to get as
many wholesale suppliers as possible when you've
found the right ones. It is actually through these DVD
movies dropship wholesalers that you will get high
volume of DVD orders.

eBay Products You Won't Want to Sell
by Huibo Bai
***
I'm going to talk about three kinds of product that are
largely unsuitable for selling on eBay.
1. Things you like or love...but no one else does Personal hobbies and interests can be a convenient way
of choosing products for eBay, but bear in mind that you
should conduct a research and find out if others are also
interested in those items. It is very possible that the
product you think is absolutely wonderful and could
make a killing on eBay turn out to be a total failure. You
might think that sales will finally come in when people
get to know about the product. But remember,
convincing people about something they rarely know
about or are not interested in is tough work. Especially
when you are starting small and doing all the work by
yourself. It is true that most people tend to follow trends,
but it is impossible for you to start a trend on your own.
You need capital to utilize the power of newspapers,
magazines, television, the Internet, and word of mouth to
start a trend. Making money on eBay is easy, if you don't
make too hard yourself.
2. Items that are too difficult to ship - such as china,
glass, pottery, and plants
I'm not saying that these products are 100% not
recommended. A lot of sellers are doing very well selling
these products. But I don't suggest you sell such things if
you are just starting out. All these items have an above-
average shipping risk, they need more packaging in a
more professional way, hence more cost. If you have an
established outlet or store that sells these products, it is
very likely that you understand the shipping of these
items inside out. Then selling on eBay can be a cost-
effective way to expand your existing business.
However, as a new seller, you will regret it if you
regularly make mistakes. If an item breaks during
shipping, you not only lost money, but you also lose the
trust of your customers. Any negative feedback you
receive at this stage could bring long term harm to your
business.
3. Very large items
Might you consider selling products like furniture and
pianos? You may get a relatively large profit margin, but
you might consider the hassle first. It is fine if you
already have experience selling and shipping such
products and you have existing customer base. It's
definitely not recommended if you are just starting out
because shipping such large items is a major operation.
In addition, these items are often expensive to the
ordinary Joe. They won't attract as much attention as
mid-priced products. The market is also not as big as
you might imagine. And these items will not attract the
same amount of impulse buyers.
To conclude, making money on eBay is actually not that
hard as you may have imagined. Getting to know the
basic do's and don'ts will make it easier for you to start
out.
Huibo Bai is the owner of a successful online
dropshipping store that sells to USA and Canada. He is
currently living in Beijing, China, but he never bothers
customer service, payment processing, shipping and
packaging, nor any other hassles. The store is loaded
with thousands of in-demand products including ipods,
psp, nintendo wii, which is creating a very healthy and
residual income stream. Learn more at:
