Hi there,
One of the nicest things about eBay is
finding useful resources you didn't
know already existed which could have
helped solve long-standing problems.
Case in point is a sales tool I found on
eBay, only this morning, which shows
exactly how much you've made on
eBay during any given month and also
gives precise details of your eBay and
PayPal costs during the month. That's
great help for people like me who
labour over end of year accounts,
wondering where on earth to start
calculating income and outgoings for
the taxman's perusal.
Until now my eBay accounts have
taken days to compile, from today
they'll take less than an hour.
The biggest benefit of this great tool is
that it includes all your eBay monthly
accounts for the last two years, on one
page, in simple to print or
downloadable format.
So there's no excuse now for not
handing over detailed accounts to the
taxman and no real need for an
accountant to prepare your tax
submissions if eBay represents the
bulk of your income.
This great resource even shows how
many items you listed during a
particular month, how many of those
items sold, how many went unsold, and
also gives detailed information about
average finishing prices and business
growth or decline from one month to
another.
That's the kind of information many
companies pay big-time to acquire but
it's free on eBay.
There's a suped up version available
which, for 33 a month, will even show
which days and starting times fetched
higher bidder numbers and finishing
prices for your listings. That and much
more to help you really analyse exactly
where and how to focus your efforts on
growing an even bigger and more
profitable eBay venture in 2007 and
beyond.
Find it all inside your 'My eBay'
account, left side of the page look
under 'My Subscriptions', then click
on 'Sales Reports'. This is where you
choose the free subscription or paid for
option. It's great stuff!
Happy eBaying!
Until next time,
Avril

Selling Toys on eBay For Holiday
Profits by GregLietz

Selling items for a profit on eBay is
easy when those items are things that
kids want. The time of year between
October and mid January is especially
good since that time of the year is the
Holiday Season and many gifts are
exchanged.
As you know, for the Holidays and
XMAS, many kids receive toys as
gifts. Of course there are all kinds of
toys, but there are some that are more
popular than others and those are often
termed as "hot selling toys". This year,
these would be toys like TMX Elmo
and Ipod and many others.
So, with this frame of mind, why not
consider getting some of these "hot
selling toys" and selling them on eBay
for a profit? The idea here is to buy
known hot selling toys in advance of
the holidays and resell them on eBay
for a profit. Call it toy arbitrage.
Many of the most sought after toys will
start to become scarce right around
Black Friday, the day after
Thanksgiving (about now so get
moving on this one: Avril). That is
when the major XMAS shopping push
begins. So, if you had some hot toys
you had purchased in advance,
determine the right timing and then list
them on eBay to resell.
This strategy works well because of the
fact that the popular toys become hard
to find and also because many people
are so busy, they are willing to find the
items they want on eBay and just have
them shipped to their door. After all it
is very convenient to purchase items
this way especially if the item is a hard
to find popular toy. In addition, many
parents and grandparents will do
everything they can in their power to
get their young loved ones the toy
items they what for XMAS.
There are some things you need to
know to better your chances of making
high profits selling toys on eBay
during the holidays. These are things
like:
1. What toys are the most popular?
2. Where can you find the popular
toys?
3. How to format your eBay listing to
get the highest profit.
4. When you should list your toys for
sale on eBay.
5. Where to start even if you never sold
items on eBay.
6. Tips and tricks to optimize your
profits.
Here is a good example of the earning
potential here. Last year a Mega Power
Ranger set came out in October and
was selling at WalMart for $45.00. The
item was listed on eBay and sold for
$65.00 plus shipping. Power Rangers
have always been hot.
So, consider selling toys for a profit
this Holiday Season. The time to get
started is now, since you want to be
able to have your toys available to be
listed on Ebay right now. Good luck.

How to Promote ClickBank
Products Using eBay by JamesPenn|
***
Clickbank is a huge info product
marketplace which allows affiliates to
easily locate and promote the best
selling eBooks from all over the world
in hundreds of different niches. It's an
excellent resource for all online
marketers and some are making
thousands of dollars DAILY just by
promoting other people's stuff.
Wouldn't it be great if you could use
eBay to achieve results like these?
How to promote Clickbank products
using eBay - Method #1
Use the eBay about me page - This is a
free web page that every eBay user
has. Most people write a little bit about
themselves, include some of their eBay
listings and their feedback, but we're
going to do something different.
Instead of the above, we're going to
include a little about ourselves, links to
our eBay auctions AND a link to a
Clickbank product which compliments
the items we are selling in our eBay
listings
How to promote Clickbank products
using eBay - Method #2
Leverage the potential of your auction
buyers - Your auction buyers are the
perfect people to market to. They have
already bought from you and if the
transaction was pleasant, then they are
likely to trust you and be more likely to
buy what you recommend.
After they have purchased a product
from you, email them to let them know
their product will be shipped shortly
and that in the meantime they might
like to check out this eBook all
about... (here you include a short
description of the product you are
recommending and then your affiliate
link)
How to promote Clickbank products
using eBay - Method #3
Distributing viral reports - eBay is
excellent for this method because of
the number of sellers looking for new
products to sell. All you need to do is
choose a Clickbank product to
promote, write a short report on a
similar subject and sell it on eBay for
cheap.
For example, you choose a product all
about weight loss. You could write a
short 8-12 page report about healthy
eating, add your affiliate links and sell
on eBay for $1. Your buyers will then
resell it and their buyers and eventually
thousands of people will have read
your eBooks and tens of people bought
through your affiliate link.
There are three excellent ways to
promote Clickbank products using
eBay but they will only make you
money if you put them into ACTION.

Would You Give Me a Second
Chance? by RoseMary
***
The Second Chance Offer (SCO) is an
interesting feature that was introduced
by eBay recently. This feature allows
the seller to offer those bidders that lost
out in the bidding a second chance to
purchase the item at the price they bid.
If the winner backs out of the deal, you
can use this feature to offer the item to
other bidders if you wish. Alternately,
if you list an item under the 'reserve
auction' term, and the final price does
not hit the reserve price, you can use
this SCO feature to offer the highest
bidder if you so decide.
Take for example, there are a total of 5
bidders as follows;
Bidder 1 : $200 (winner)
Bidder 2: $190
Bidder 3 : $180
Bidder 4 : $170
Bidder 5 : $160
Bidder 1 will get the item, no question
about it. You can then offer the other 4
bidders individually at the price that
they bided assuming that you still
make money based on the lowest
selling price of $160. In this way, you
can sell all your 5 items (assuming that
you have 5 items) at one go. There are
several benefits of this feature.
Firstly, you only pay one time listing
fee. Yes, one listing fee can sell 5
items. What a deal. But, you will still
need to pay the normal eBay final
value fee schedule for each individual
item.
Secondly, this method allows you to
sell many identical items at one go
without the bidders knowing that you
have stocks at hand. As you know,
scarcity will increase demand.
Thirdly, to take advantage of this
feature, you can list your item with a
starting price that covers your margin.
By doing this, you will be ensured that
every offer will be over your margin.
You can then decide to sell them all or
just offer to the top few bidders.
As you can see from the above
benefits, the use of the SCO strategy
will certainly give you a better reward.
If you have not considered this
method, you should try it out to test its
benefits to its fullest.
