Hi,

It's 'Big Money Little Money Day'
today and tomorrow on eBay. For just
10p a time you can list products on eBay
at whatever asking price you fancy, high
or low, but only if you list Buy It Now.
Most high ticket price listings on eBay
set you back at least a few pounds, so
this 10p price is a real gift to eBay sellers
in the run up to Christmas. I've spent the
day listing dog pendants and bracelets
left over from last Christmas, as well as
Burberry scarves, some big bundles of
postcards, the few odd CDs I bought but
never used.

Those doggy pendants sold
at £320 plus each last year, hundreds of
them and, even though listing cost £31 or
so each time, I still made a decent profit.
So this great cheap listing offer adds
another 90p every sale to my bottom line.
Of course, professional selling involves
guessing and testing prices, you need to
get it right to warrant spending £3£3£3s on
everything you list. Not today or
tomorrow though, and here is what I
suggest to help you make at least a few
hundred pounds for Christmas.

Go to the garage, climb into the loft, look
in all your cupboards. Remove anything
you don't want, never use, can't stand the
sight of. Clean it up, take great pictures,
list them on eBay at the price you want to
achieve. And make it a decent price,
what you would ask in the local rag's
'Items for Sale' pages. In fact, take a
look in your local paper for clues to what
your items might be worth locally, then
ask a little more (we're selling nationally
or internationally, remember).

But, just in case you really are asking too
much, tick the 'Best Offer' button on
your listing. Leave your listing to run 10
days to get maximum exposure for your
products; you'll find most quality items
will sell in the first few days, towards
auction end you'll have people sending
Best Offers for less attractive items. All
in all, what better way is there to let the
market determine the price of your
products while still allowing you to find
that one person, somewhere in this big
world, who'll rush to buy at your first
asking price?

I'm not kidding you on this: I really
mean it, if you sort all that stuff out
tonight, list it on ten day auction
tomorrow, use BUY IT NOW with BEST
OFFER button ticked, you really do
stand to earn at least a few hundred
pounds to make this your best Christmas
ever.

Happy eBaying!

Until next time,

Avril

A Simple Strategy to Keep Your eBay
Customers by RoseMary

It is always great to make a sale on eBay.
The sense of achievement and the
monetary rewards gained from the sale
really makes the feeling great. Do you
want to have this great feeling repeated?
If you do, then you need to achieve more
repeated sales. How can you do that?
Perhaps, you can consider this simple
strategy.

One strategy to acquired repeated sales is
to retain the email address, eBay ID and
mailing address of the customers who
have bought from you before. In this
way, you will be able to build your own
customer base. Subsequently, you can
send periodic announcements to these
customers about other products which
you are selling. However, you need to
obtain the customers' permission before
you can send them these announcements.
When the customers have completed a
sale with you, you can ask them
individually if they would like to be
informed of other items sold by you in
future. If they agree to have this
information forwarded to them, then you
can place them on your mailing list.
However if they do not wish to be kept
informed, then you have to respect their
choice and should not contact them
anymore. If you repeat this process for
every customer and every sale you make,
your mailing list will gradually grow
over time.

Furthermore, you can keep in touch with
these customers in your mailing list
during holiday seasons or special
occasions by sending greeting cards to
them. Nowadays, with the advancement
of technology, you can send electronic
greeting cards to your customers easily
and without any cost at all. Besides, you
can get high quality greeting cards for
free from the web. In order to stay in
touch with these customers, you should
try to send them greeting and well wishes
as often as you can. It costs you
absolutely nothing except a little of your
time to do this simple task.

If you have such a mailing list, you can
direct your marketing efforts to these
customers over and over again without
having to wait for new customers to
come to you. As these customers have
bought at least a product from you
before, they will know the level of
service and the quality of products you
offer. If you have provided them
excellent service and good products
previously, the chance is they trust you
and are receptive towards your
merchandise and recommendations. You
just need to create awareness of other
products you are selling. If these
customers know about these products and
like them, they may decide to buy them
from you.

This is a great strategy that will certainly
reap tremendous benefits. If you adopt it,
it will help to increase your customer
base and in turn increase your sales in
your eBay business. You should not just
let your customers go after the first sale.
As far as possible, you should try to keep
in touch with them and create an
opportunity for them to buy another
product from you.

Popular Information Products Selling
on eBay by DeeCohen
***

I was surprised to find that there are
many information products that sell well
on eBay that aren't on Internet marketing.
In fact, people seem to be very interested
in certain specific wholesale lists. These
actually outweighed other categories in
the research that studied the top selling
info products for the 3rd week in October
on eBay.

It makes sense that people would want to
find wholesale items as this can be a way
to buy low and sell high making a profit.
These are often combined with popular
items that can be found on eBay Pulse
(http://pulse.ebay.com) and they include
toys, dolls and electronics. The more
specific the better such as a list of
wholesale paintball items suppliers.
Within the miscellaneous category a few
interesting findings came up including
information products on hair bows as
well as information products on dating.
Also discounted ticket sources is a good
seller. People are always looking for
discounts for concert tickets, sports
events and other kinds of performances.
Keep in mind that to sell a wholesale list
itself, it is only permitted in the
appropriate 'Everything Else,
Information Products, Wholesale Lists'
category. Wholesale lists that are listed in
other categories will be removed if
someone reports it to eBay.

If you are looking to sell something on
eBay, an information product is a good
selection. You can use 'Open Office' to
create a doc file and that can easily be
converted to a pdf file . Most computers
now come with Adobe Reader on their
hard drive so it's easy to open that type of
file. An information product can sell
quite well on eBay depending on the
category and topic.

Ingenious Product Ideas to Sell on
eBay for Unlimited Profits by James

If you ask many sellers what the major
drawbacks to selling on eBay are then
many would say the packaging and
shipping of items. Who really wants to
get up early in the morning before work
to drop off a package at the post office?
Many sellers are now resorting to selling
eBooks but that market is becoming over
crowded and it's very difficult to make
any real money selling eBooks on eBay.
In this article I reveal innovative
products or services you can sell on eBay
without packaging or shipping and it's
NOT eBooks.

Firstly, you could consider selling
domain names. Domain names can be
bought for under $10 and if you manage
to choose one that is in demand then you
could go and sell it on eBay for $20 or
more. You can easily locate these
domains just by testing. It requires very
little effort and sometimes you stumble
upon hidden gems that you could go and
sell on eBay for four figures!

Secondly, you could sell your writing
services. The demand for eBooks and
articles has never been greater. Many
people want these written for them and if
you have expert knowledge in a
particular niche you could write eBooks
on that subject for the highest bidder.
On the same lines as selling your writing
services, you could sell your graphic
design ability or web design skills. You
could design eCovers, banners or
websites to the highest bidder. You could
learn these skills in just a few days and
all you really need is a copy of
Photoshop and maybe some action
scripts.

Perhaps the method that requires the least
effort is selling linking space or
advertising space. If you have a website
with high amounts of traffic or a high
Google Page Rank, then you could sell
links or space on your website for
adverts. A one way link is very important
in terms of search engine ranking and
your link could greatly benefit your
buyer. You could charge perhaps $10 for
a link for one month. After the sale you
could then ask the buyer if they would
like to buy the link on a monthly basis
and they can pay you $10 every month.
This is great residual income.

Similarly, you could sell advertising
space in your newsletter or ezine. If you
have a large subscription base then you
could charge a lot of money for this. For
even more money, you could charge
buyers for a solo ad. to your subscribers.
You could promote their product in one
of your newsletters and you could easily
charge 10c for every subscriber you
have.

There are a few ideas for products you
could sell for higher prices than eBooks
and without the packaging or shipping.
Admittedly, some do require a little work
but it's something different. Make sure
you don't sell too low though. Many
people are oblivious to these products
that you could sell there is little demand
for these products and services at this
time therefore there may be fewer bids
on your auctions. Start your auctions
high to make sure you don't lose out.
